The planned Sentinel-1B acquisition segments will be published on the Acquisition Segments page from 26 September 2016, similarly to the Sentinel-1A planned segments, following the opening of access to Sentinel-1B data.

In order to differentiate between Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B acquisition segments, the following naming convention will be used for the respective KML files:

• For Sentinel-1A planning:
  Sentinel-1A_MP_yyyymmddThhmmss_yyyymmddThhmmss.kml
  These files will be available from 26 September 2016, the former file naming convention will be maintained for about 2 weeks
   
• For Sentinel-1B planning:
  Sentinel-1B_MP_yyyymmddThhmmss_yyyymmddThhmmss.kml
  These files will be available from 26 September 2016
   
• For Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B planning:
  Sentinel-1AB_MP_yyyymmddThhmmss_yyyymmddThhmmss.kml
  These files will be available in the future
