We are pleased to announce that the full Sentinel-3 Altimetry mission Thematic products dataset is now available from the ESA Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem.
Early availability of the re-processed data via FTP, as described in this Link, is now discontinued.
The Full Mission Reprocessing (FMR) of the ESA S3 Land Altimetry mission NTC data set (Sea-Ice, Land Ice, Inland Waters products) is today complete.
Since August 2023, the S3 Altimetry Thematic products are operationally generated from the ESA Production Services for all timeliness (i.e. NRT, STC & NTC).
All S3 Hydro-Cryo Altimetry Thematic products are in line with the Baseline collection 005 (BC005).
Figure 1 below shows the dataset coverage.

Please note the level-2 products generated with initial Sentinel-3 Low Resolution Mode (LRM) measurements must not be considered as "Thematic Products", as the measurement footprint and the associated data quality are not equivalent.
Be aware in LRM the product name remains the same as a Thematic one: “S3A_SR_2_LAN_LI_” or “S3A_SR_2_LAN_SI_” or “S3A_SR_2_LAN_HY_”.
Sentinel-3 operated in Low Resolution Mode (LRM) only at the early stage of the missions:
- Sentinel-3A: from beginning of mission until 12/04/2016, ~12h
- Sentinel-3B: from beginning of mission until 11/07/2018, ~15h
