The Sentinel-1 Level-1/2 product format specifications version 2.9 introduces minor changes to the product format. See here for a description of the new product format.

All Sentinel-1 Level-1 products generated and made available online from mid-March 2015 will comply with this new product format.

In order to support users to get ready for these changes, a collection of Sentinel-1 Level-1 products following the new format will be published on 11 March on the Sentinel-1 Scientific Data Hub.

Users can alternatively retrieve the list of products belonging to the collection by:

• performing an OpenSearch query (recommended browser: Firefox)
• typing collection:pfs201503 in the Data Hub free text search box (see image below for example)

The precise date for the operational change of product format will be provided in the next days.
