As announced in March, we are pleased to announce the upcoming worldwide extension of the geometric refinement processing for Copernicus Sentinel-2 products. The deployment in the operational production will happen gradually on 23 August throughout the day.

The orbital segments that will result in candidates for geometric refinement at the time of the deployment are highlighted in green in this image:

No change of the Processing Baseline identifier is being applied for this extension, i.e. the current Processing Baseline identifier, "03.01", which is tagged in every Level-1C and Level-2A product, will remain throughout the transition and beyond.
