Level-1B
A new Bayesian and probabilistic cloud detection has been implemented over sea (Bayesian) and land (probabilistic). Cloud detection is based on calculating a probability of clear-sky of each pixel based on the satellite observation, prior information about the atmosphere and surface conditions and the respective uncertainties in these variables.

Level-2 LST Products
Land Surface Temperature (LST)
Fixes to the implementation of the retrieval algorithm and associated auxiliary data have been made. These include,
i) the across-track interpolation;
ii) the correct assignment of biome and fractional vegetation cover;
iii) Improvements to the noise estimation in the uncertainty budget.
Basic cloud screening
Significant improvements have been made in the basic cloud screening over land during daytimewith optimisation of the Visible Cloud Test.
