Alternative Atmospheric Correction (Neural Network)

Alternative Atmospheric Correction (AAC) provides water-leaving reflectances and atmospheric parameters using a neural network approach. Its inputs are top of atmosphere reflectances, corrected for absorbing gases and smile effect, and observation geometry. Its main purpose is to improve atmospheric correction over turbid and highly absorbing Case 2 waters and for areas contaminated by sun glint. It can also be applied to Case 1 waters.
