The following set of Sentinel-2B products published in Data Hubs have an incorrect file name due to a configuration issue at ground segment level.

The Sentinel-2A Optical Communication Payload (OCP) is back to nominal operations from 24 September 2018 at 18:04 UTC.

Sentinel-3A OLCI data has been re-processed to Processing Baseline 2.23 to provide a homogeneous time series from the start of the Sentinel-3 mission and also to align it with the forthcoming Sentinel-3B OLCI products.

Users are informed that a minor update on Sentinel-2 L2A products is going to be implemented to optimise the encoding of the quality bands (SCL, CLD, SNW, PVI, TCI) over 8 bits instead of 16 bits, in line with the Sentinel-2 L1C products.

Infrastructure maintenance activities are scheduled on:

  • Tuesday, 18 September 2018 from 06:00 to 16:30 UTC
  • Wednesday, 19 September 2018 from 06:00 to 16:30 UTC.

Making landfall in the US state of North Carolina on 14 September, Hurricane Florence is causing widespread damage and flooding. The Copernicus Sentinel-1 radar mission is being used to map affected areas.
