With reference to the news of 8 November, the final resolution of the ground segment contingency was implemented on 13 November, allowing a start to the recovery of missing Copernicus Sentinel-2A Level-1C and Level-2A products.

A routine decontamination activity of the Copernicus Sentinel-2B MSI is planned to take place over a continuous period of 24-hours between 25/11/2019 10:00 and 26/11/2019 10:00 UTC (corresponding approximately to the period between absolute orbits 14205 to 14219). During this temporal window no MSI acquisition will take place.

Due to a planned maintenance at Ground Segment level on 13 November, both Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Copernicus Sentinel-3B OLCI Near Real Time products from 09:15 to 11:00 UTC could be delayed.
Copernicus Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 11 November from 15:34 to 18:46 UTC, due to a Payload Data Handling and Transmission (PDHT) sub-system anomaly.

Following yesterday's news, an intermediate solution was put in place that allowed nominal production to resume for Copernicus Sentinel-2A Level-1C and Level-2A products as of orbit 22863 with sensing time 21:47 UTC on 7 November.

Ozone hole set to close

The size of the ozone hole fluctuates – usually forming each year in August, with its peak in October, before finally closing in late November or December. Not only will the hole close earlier than usual in 2019, but it is also the smallest it has been in 30 years owing to unusual atmospheric conditions.

The Copernicus Sentinel family is almost fully composed of twins. Because of their large field of view, these twins see many locations in the High Arctic two or more times per day, with time lags of minutes to hours. In this resulting time-lapse, satellite imagery of a range of short-lived movements on Earth's surface can be detected.

A ground segment anomaly has been affecting the nominal production of Copernicus Sentinel-2A data since 6 November, preventing the availability of about 30% of all new Sentinel-2A acquisitions since sensing orbit 22827.

Due to a planned maintenance on 6 November at PDGS level, SLSTR Near Real Time Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Sentinel 3B data starting from 08:45 to 12:00 UTC could be delayed.
Due to a processor anomaly the Copernicus Sentinel-5P O3 TCL data products from 12 September to 15 October have not been published on the Copernicus Sentinel-5P hub.
