Users are informed that the maintenance activity scheduled for today, 12 September 2017, mentioned in previous news, has been postponed to tomorrow 13 September from 8:30 CEST to 18:30 CEST.

Please note that the Sentinel-1 products acquired within the following sensing times for Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B present a degraded geolocation accuracy.

With reference to the news published on 30 August, users are informed that since the morning of 05 September, both Sentinel-2A and -2B products are again nominally available in the data hubs.
The Earth Observation metadata enhancer (EO-me) is a service that addresses the issue of identifying specific data tiles in the rapidly growing satellite data archives.

From 4 September 2017, the Copernicus Data Hub Service provides a catalogue view of the products published on the Open Access Hub in the form of Comma-Separated Value (CSV) files.

The Sentinel-5P satellite has arrived in Plesetsk in northern Russia to be prepared for liftoff on 13 October. Built to deliver global maps of air pollutants every day and in more detail than ever before, this latest Copernicus mission will set a new standard for monitoring air quality.

A series of maintenance activities aiming to upgrade the infrastructure hosting the data hub services, are scheduled on:

  • Wednesday, 6 September 2017
  • Thursday, 7 September 2017
  • Tuesday, 12 June 2017
As a consequence of a ground segment anomaly, the availability of Sentinel-2 products in the data hubs is delayed since 29 August 2017.
Sentinel-1B was unavailable between 25 August at 23:29 UTC and 26 August 2017 at 09:18 UTC, due to a SAR anomaly. No data were generated during this period.
