For more than 20 years, changes in ozone over Antarctica have been carefully monitored by a succession of European satellites. This important long-term record is now being added to by the Copernicus Sentinel-5P mission, which is dedicated to atmospheric monitoring.

An innovative data analytics company in France is using data from the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites to help track crude oil storage worldwide, bringing transparency to the energy markets.

Following the DHUS maintenance on 27-28 August, the availability in the Data Hubs of several S2 L2A products with sensing date between 27 August and 11 September is delayed as a consequence of a contingency at ground segment level.

Due to decontamination activities of the Sentinel-3 SLSTR instrument, production of data from 13 to 19 September 2018 will be affected.

Following the recent upgrades to the Data Hub dissemination points we are pleased to announce that the Long Term Archive (LTA) Access interfaces are ready to be operated, part of the nominal regime to ensure the continued access to all Sentinel Data at all time.
Due to a major Sentinel-3A Ground Segment anomaly all L1 and L2 NRT OLC, SLSTR and SRAL user products from sensing time 05-09-2018 19:30 to 06-09-2018 06:06 UTC are missing.

Due to a planned spacecraft manoeuvre on Sentinel-3A on 29 August 2018 all NRT/NTC/STC OLCI and SRAL user products could be degraded from sensing time 07:38 to 08:13 UTC. NRT/NTC SLSTR user products could be degraded from sensing time 07:38 to 08:47 UTC.

As a consequence of a ground segment anomaly, the availability in the Data Hubs of several Sentinel-2 L1C products with sensing date between 29 and 31 August is delayed.
Infrastructure maintenance activities are scheduled on Wednesday, 5 September 2018 from 07:00 to 16:00 UTC and on Thursday, 6 September 2018 from 07:00 to 10:00 UTC.
Sentinel-1A was unavailable from 28 August 2018 at 17:27 UTC to 29 August 2018 at 7:27 UTC, due to a SAR anomaly. No data were generated during this period.
