Due to an issue occurring at PDGS level, the Near Real Time Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Sentinel 3B SLSTR Level 1 and Level2 products starting from around sensing time 16-05-2021T16:30 UT will be been missed or delayed

In Denmark, land areas and infrastructure are undergoing subsidence depending on soil type and stability, and changing ground water levels and foundation. As of 2014, data from the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites have been freely available—becoming a game changer for the growing needs for such measurements in Denmark, thus helping to develop a national monitoring program.

Due to an issue occurred at Ground Segment level, the Near Real Time Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B OLC, SLSTR and SRAL Level 1 and Level2 products starting from around sensing time 10-05-2021T17:30:00 UT (S3A orbit 27236 and S3B 15843) until 11-05-2021T06:30:00 UT (S3A orbit 27243 and S3B 15849) could be missed or degraded.

Due to a ground segment contingency occurred on 10th May in the frame of a planned maintenance, the generation of several Copernicus Sentinel-2A products was prevented.

Due to an issue occurring at Ground Segment level, the Near Real Time Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B OLC, SLSTR and SRAL Level 1 and Level2 products starting from around sensing time 10-05-2021T17:30:00 UT (S3A orbit 27236 and S3B 15843) could be missed or degraded.

As a consequence of a Copernicus Sentinel-2B collision avoidance manoeuvre executed on 02 May, a small acquisition planned on orbit 21700 from 13:13:01 to 13:14:03 UTC sensing time has been lost.

With reference to the news published on 27 April, users are informed that the DHUS issue affecting the publication of Copernicus Sentinel-2B L2A products was fixed on the same day and the recovery of the backlog cumulated over the past days has been completed on 28 April in the morning, allowing the resume of their nominal availability since then.

We are pleased to announce a new forthcoming processing baseline 2.76-A and 1.54-B for Copernicus Sentinel-3 concerning the following products:

  • OLCI L1 NRT/NTC

On 19 March, New South Wales, Australia, was struck with extreme rainfall resulting in significant flooding in a number of areas along its central and northern coastline—data from Copernicus Sentinel-1 allowed the Copernicus Emergency Management Service to come into action, lending a hand to rescue efforts.

As a consequence of a publication issue occurring at DHUS level as of the end of previous week, the availability of Copernicus Sentinel-2B L2A products on the data hubs is currently delayed.
