Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 12 May 2022 between 14:26 UTC and 21:12 UTC, due to a Payload Data Handling and Transmission (PDHT) sub-system anomaly. No data were generated during this period, data acquired slightly before this period may have been affected.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

To discover a new digital platform that enables users of Copernicus data to share their achievements with the global Earth observation community, join the Sentinel Online editorial team for a live demonstration of Sentiboard at the Living Planet Symposium.

Due to Copernicus Sentinel-3B SRAL annual calibration, SRAL product degradation is expected from 11/05/2022T20:23:10 to 11/05/2022T20:24:31.

Due to Copernicus Sentinel-3A DORIS Software Update activity, SRAL products degradation is expected for the following sensing times: from 13/05/2022T08:42:00 to 13/05/2022T08:44:00 and from 16/05/2022T10:44:00 to 16/05/2022T10:46:00.

Due to a Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5p) Ground Segment Maintenance activity on 04/05/2022 the NRT processing will be temporarily suspended for some time between 06:00 UTC and 14:00 UTC resulting in a small gap in the near real time (NRTI) production. All data affected by the unavailability will be subsequently processed in the non time critical (OFFL) stream as normal.

Due to Copernicus Sentinel-3B In-Plane orbit correction manoeuvre, SLSTR products degradation is expected for sensing time from 27/04/2022T09:25:39 to 27/04/2022T09:35:43.

ESA’s (European Space Agency) Living Planet Symposium will take place from 23 to 27 May 2022, in Bonn, Germany. Registrations are open until 9 May, so if you haven’t already, register now via the dedicated website and take the opportunity to meet a large community of EO data users.

Remote sensing experts who are presenting at the Living Planet Symposium next month now have a fresh way to showcase their findings, thanks to a new open-access digital forum called Sentiboard. Launched in 2021, the forum enables the growing community of Copernicus Sentinel data users – from early career researchers to seasoned Earth science veterans – to share their latest contributions to remote sensing.

Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 25 April 2022 between 06:17 UTC and 09:35 UTC, due to a Payload Data Handling and Transmission (PDHT) sub-system anomaly. No data were generated during this period, data acquired slightly before this period may have been affected.

Calling on all interested users of Sentinel data, who would like to submit their results, turning their experiences into 'success stories'.

If you have a good story to tell, of how any of the Sentinel satellites are producing data that bring benefit to your work and/or to society, please contact the Sentinel Online Editors at: contentmatters4sentinelonline@ejr-quartz.com with your proposals.
