Due to a blocking incident on 13 October 2021, Copernicus Sentinel-3 data production may be delayed.

A maintenance activity on infrastructure of the data hub services, is planned on 13 October from 06:00 to 15:00 UTC.

Further to our former announcement of 29 September, the deployment of Processing baseline 04.00, initially planned on 26 October, has been postponed to the 15 November.

Further to our news of 29 September on the forthcoming evolution of the Sentinel-2 products with Processing Baseline 04.00, users are invited to verify the compatibility of their application with sample products made available.

Collision avoidance manoeuvres will be executed on Copernicus Sentinel-1B to reduce the risk of collision with an Iridium 33 fragmentation debris, potentially occurring on 2 October 2021.

Following the Copernicus Sentinel-1B on-board software maintenance activity executed on 30 September 2021, a further maintenance operation had to be performed on 1 October 2021.

Following a scheduled SLSTR Blackbody (BB) Crossover Test activity executing on the Copernicus Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B SLSTR instrument all the related user products may be degraded for a short period of time.

As anticipated in the Sentinel-2 Mission Status Report, ESA is pleased to confirm the forthcoming upgrade of Sentinel-2 products. This evolution includes major updates on the products format.

Following the Sentinel-1A on-board software maintenance activity related to the Payload Data Handling and Transmission system that was performed on 15 September 2021 a similar operation will be made on Sentinel-1B on 30 September 2021.

 

Referring to our former announcement of 3 September  anticipating the forthcoming evolution of the Sentinel-1 product format to version 3.9, it is clarified that the subject deployment is postponed and will hence not occur as initially planned on 21/09.
