ESA would like to inform Sentinel-2 data users about the update on 15 December 2015 of the processing baseline of Level-1 products to 02.01.
ESA has ensured the continuation of the Sentinel-1 Earth observation satellite series for Europe's Copernicus environmental programme by ordering two more satellites.
Further to our previous message regarding an anomaly, Sentinel-2 data users are informed that the mission is expected to resume nominal operations on Wednesday 16 December in the early morning, after the upload of a MMFU (Mass Memory and Formatting Unit) software update.
Sentinel-2A is not operating nominally since the evening of 11 December 2015. This is due to an anomaly on the recording unit. Investigations are ongoing and nominal operations will resume as soon as possible.
On the 10  December 2015, the Scientific Data Hub changes domain name from: scihub.esa.int to scihub.copernicus.eu
A satellite unavailability is planned on 10 December 2015 from 07:30 UTC to 13:00 UTC for an on-board software maintenance. No SAR data will be acquired during this period.
ESA is pleased to announce the availability of Sentinel-2A orthorectified products in the Sentinel Data Hub.
After an eventful journey to Russia, by plane, lorry and train, the Sentinel-3A satellite is safe and sound in the Plesetsk cosmodrome in northern Russia, for lift-off next month.

Farmers can now call on the latest satellite information using the unique TalkingFields service to get the best from their land while cutting the environmental cost.

Following a calibration campaign that took place during spring/summer 2015, a new processing baseline is in place for all Sentinel-1 Level-1 core user products acquired after 25 November 2015 10:40 UTC.
