Users are informed that as a side effect of the infrastructure maintenance extension to the 21 March, the publication of Copernicus Sentinel-2 Level-2A products are experiencing unexpected delays.

The conservation and protection of biodiversity is a fundamental activity of protected areas, such as the Samaria National Park, in Greece. The use of data from the Copernicus Sentinels, combined with geodiversity variables, are proving to be fundamental in monitoring certain areas where the Podarcis cretensis endemic lizard is found.

Billions of image pixels recorded by the Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission have been used to generate a high-resolution map of land-cover dynamics across Earth's landmasses. This map also depicts the month of the peak of vegetation and gives new insight into land productivity.

As millions of people in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe struggle to cope with the aftermath of what could be the southern hemisphere's worst storm, Copernicus Sentinel-1 is one of the satellite missions being used to map flooded areas to help relief efforts.

Following the collision avoidance manoeuvre for Copernicus Sentinel-2B on 06 and 07 March, we now have a confirmed list of sensing orbits which were affected by the activity.

Following the announcement on 14 March regarding the resumed publication of Copernicus Sentinel-2 L2A products, we regret to inform you that the impact of the infrastructure maintenance executed on 12 March is also affecting products acquired up to 15 March. It is foreseen that these will recovered in the next few days.

ESA is pleased to announce the official release of the Copernicus SYNERGY Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B products on Open Access Hub.

Collision avoidance manoeuvres were executed on Copernicus Sentinel-1A on 18 March, to reduce the risk of collision with a debris, which was potentially due to occur at 05:31 UTC.

ESA is pleased to announce the official release of the Copernicus Sea and Land Surface Temperature Radiometer (SLSTR) Sentinel-3A and -3B products on the Open Access Hub.
