Now that Sentinel-5P is safely in orbit, engineers have started commissioning the satellite for the task of delivering extremely high-quality information on air quality. Meanwhile, the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service is poised to ensure we all reap the benefits from this latest mission.
As a consequence of a ground segment anomaly, the availability of Sentinel-2A products in the data hubs is delayed as of today, 31 October 2017.

As a consequence of an error in the mission planning procedure, orbit 3324 from Sentinel-2B on 25 October 2017 has been lost and orbits 3323, 3325, 3331, 3332 and 3334 on 25 and 26 October have been partially lost.

As formerly anticipated in news released on 11 October 2017, we are pleased to confirm that the new Sentinel-2 processing baseline 02.06 featuring the product format evolution described in the Product Specifications Document issue 14.3 took effect on 23 October 2017.

BELSPO (the Federal Science Policy Office) has launched Terrascope, Belgium's contribution to the Sentinel Collaborative Ground Segment (CollGS). The CollGS is a series of agreements between ESA and its Member States and international partners to offer data distribution platforms for the Sentinel missions.
Sentinel-1 satellites can see right through these towering spinning weather systems, measuring the sea surface below to help predict the storm's path.
Sentinel-1A will be unavailable on 25 October 2017 from 08:25 UTC to 10:20 UTC. This activity will finalise the onboard maintenance of the radar instrument, which was successfully performed on 17 October.
As a result of a ground segment anomaly, Sentinel-2 products acquired since 20 October at 10:00 UTC, are temporarily unavailable in the data hubs.
