Due to an anomaly with the OLCI instrument, Sentinel-3A OLC NRT Level-1, 2 and 3 data products acquired from 04 November 2017 at 09:05 UTC sensing time (orbit #8936) to 05 November 2017 UTC at 07:29 UTC sensing time (#orbit 8950) were delayed.

Following the announcement on 31 October 2017, the ground segment anomaly affecting the publication of Sentinel-2A products on the Data Hub services was resolved on 02 November.

We are pleased to announce that Sentinel-2B and Sentinel-3A SRAL are now available on the Copernicus Services Data Hub.

Between May and September this year, the Copernicus Emergency Management Service was activated more than ever, with many users needing its rapid mapping products to help respond to a range of environmental disasters.

Now that Sentinel-5P is safely in orbit, engineers have started commissioning the satellite for the task of delivering extremely high-quality information on air quality. Meanwhile, the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service is poised to ensure we all reap the benefits from this latest mission.
As a consequence of a ground segment anomaly, the availability of Sentinel-2A products in the data hubs is delayed as of today, 31 October 2017.

In this image from the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite mission, we can see the location of the ‘Halloween crack' on Antarctica's Brunt Ice Shelf, highlighted in red. The former and current locations of the British Antarctic Survey's Halley research stations are also marked.

Due to spectral calibration activities for the OLCI instrument, on 04 and 05 November OLCI data may be affected.

Planned impacted absolute orbit: 8935, 8936, 8937, 8946.

As a consequence of an error in the mission planning procedure, orbit 3324 from Sentinel-2B on 25 October 2017 has been lost and orbits 3323, 3325, 3331, 3332 and 3334 on 25 and 26 October have been partially lost.

As formerly anticipated in news released on 11 October 2017, we are pleased to confirm that the new Sentinel-2 processing baseline 02.06 featuring the product format evolution described in the Product Specifications Document issue 14.3 took effect on 23 October 2017.
