Copernicus' Sentinel-1B satellite has officially completed its commissioning phase, marking the beginning of its operational life in orbit.

SciHub (including APIHub) have been experiencing delays in the publication of products due to the increased number of products coming from Sentinel-1A, Sentinel-1B and Sentinel-2A.

Short service interruptions might occur on Friday, 30 September 2016 from 9:30 CEST to 12:00 CEST, for maintenance activities aiming to improve the service performances of the Sentinels Scientific Data Hub and the API Hub.

Sentinel-1B Level-0, Level-1 and Level-2 user products are now available for download for data acquired since 26 September 2016 at 00:00 UTC through the same interfaces as Sentinel-1A data.
The European Space Agency is pleased to announce the call for the Sentinel-2 Validation Team (S2VT).

Maintenance activities are foreseen on the Sentinels International Access Hub on Friday 23 September 2016 from 9:00 CEST to 16:00 CEST.

Further to the announcement of 05 August, ESA is pleased to announce that the Sentinel-2 Level-1C products will be distributed on the Sentinels Data Hubs in single-tile packages as of Tuesday 27 September 2016.

An app that uses satellite data to evaluate the quality of wine took home the top prize at this year's Space App Camp at ESA's centre in Frascati, Italy.

Infrastructure maintenance activities are foreseen on the Collaborative Data Hub (Node 1 only) on Tuesday, 20 September 2016 from 09:00 CEST to 13:00 CEST.

The planned Sentinel-1B acquisition segments will be published on the Acquisition Segments page from 26 September 2016, similarly to the Sentinel-1A planned segments, following the opening of access to Sentinel-1B data.
