On 9 March 2018, Level-1 and Level-2 Sentinel-3 OLCI PDUs, full and reduced resolution, began to be released through the Sentinel-3 Pre-Operational Data Hub. The data is being released incrementally beginning with the oldest data first, and the initial release will cover 26 April 2016 to 29 November 2017. The release of data will be performed gradually in order to avoid slowing down the nominal production publication.

The EDRS–SpaceDataHighway has now begun regularly relaying Earth images from Sentinel-2A, which marks the last of four Copernicus satellites in orbit being brought under the EDRS service.
new website, developed by Noveltis for ESA, is now open. The interactive website offers the possibility to display OLTC elevation tables onboard ESA Sentinel-3 SRAL altimeters.

Two recent expeditions that took scientists 26 000 km across the Atlantic Ocean have returned critical information to make sure that the Copernicus Sentinel satellites are delivering accurate data about the state of our oceans.

On 17 February 2018, the Sentinel-2 mission reached the 5-day global revisit periodicity, thus fully exploiting the two satellite units of the constellation.

The extended planned maintenance of the Data Hub infrastructure on 5 and 6 March 2018 has been closed, and all services have been resumed as of 09:00 CET today.
Sentinel-1 Level-1 and Level-2 products generated from 13th March 2018 will be processed with the new IPF version 2.90 and made available following the new product format, as announced on 12 June 2017  and on 13 October 2017.

The scheduled maintenance of 05 March 2018 has been extended to 06 March 2018.

The maintenance is taking place to upgrade of the storage infrastructure in view of the upcoming Sentinl-5p production, Sentinel-2 L2 global production and Sentinel-3B.

Bridging from the initial Level-2A pilot production started in May 2017, we are pleased to confirm the long-term maintenance of the Level-2A as an operational product starting from mid-March this year, as well as its forthcoming evolution with systematic worldwide coverage planned for deployment by the summer.

Infrastructure maintenance activities are scheduled on Monday 05 March from 07:30 UTC to 19:00 UTC.
