Copernicus Sentinel-3B data unavailability notice
19 November 2020
Following a scheduled maintenance activity executed on the Copernicus Sentinel-3B SLSTR instrument all the related user products may be degraded or unavailable in the following sensing time intervals:
- From 11.11.2020 11:33 to 12.11.2020 11:07: data are unavailable.
- From 12.11.2020 11:07 to 14.11.2020 01:00: visible channels may be degraded and IR channels are invalid
Due to an anomaly at Ground Segment level NRT data from the following timeframes have been missed:
- Copernicus Sentinel-3A OLCI, SLSTR, SRAL Level 1 and Level 2 products starting from sensing time 2020-11-07T23:58:19 to 2020-11-08T06:47:31 UTC
- Copernicus Sentinel-3B OLCI, SLSTR, SRAL Level 1 and Level 2 products starting from sensing time 2020-11-08T02:42:51 to 2020-11-08T04:25:41 UTC.
A routine decontamination activity of the Copernicus Sentinel-2B MSI is planned to take place over 24 hours between 16 November 10:00 and 17 November 10:00 UTC (corresponding approximately to the period between absolute orbits 19310 to 19324).
Data Hub Software Maintenance activities November 2020

A series of maintenance activities are scheduled from 11 to 18 November for updating the data hub software.
Catalogue view publication delay in November

Following a service downtime occurring on 3 and 4 November, the Catalogue view relevant to November data will be published on the Open Access Hub with a slight delay.

A service downtime occurred on 3 November from 20:00 UTC to 4 November 12:00 UTC on the following access points:
- Copernicus Open Access Hub (also including API Hub, Copernicus Sentinels POD Data Hub)
- Collaborative Data Hub Node1
- Copernicus Services Data Hub.
On 30 October 2020, a powerful earthquake struck Turkey's western coast and the Greek island of Samos, causing extensive damage as well as casualties—the Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission was used to map the related co-seismic ground displacements within 24 hours, contributing to relief efforts.
Copernicus Sentinel-1 Data Unavailability Update

Copernicus Sentinel-1 production has resumed nominally after a ground segment anomaly.
Data acquired between 2 November and 3 November will be available soon.

Dues to a ground segment anomaly no new Sentinel-1 products have been published since 2 November at around 10:00 am UTC.
