Title: Southern Calabria Coastline

Description: On 22 October 2018, the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite captured this image of the southern Calabrian Coast, Italy (37.9°N, -15.9°W), following heavy rainfall and flooding in the region. It has been processed with the sea mask removed to show visible RGB rendering of the sea surface, where a windrow of floating marine debris, partially containing plastic, can be seen highlighted in red.
