Turbidity in test site reservoirs

Title: Turbidity in Portugal's test site reservoirs

Description: Distribution of turbidity in the Pedrogão (left column) and Magra (right column) reservoirs (2019). The images were produced on the Sentinel-hub EO Browser from Copernicus Sentinel-2 L2A products for 7 October (top row), 12 October (bottom row).

Top row: the high amount of turbidity in Pedrogão (purple) is not yet present in Magra (yellow). Bottom row: after five days Magra shows a high value of turbidity. This observation can be used to set the foundation for an early warning system: if a high amount of turbidity or any other indicator is noticed in Pedrogão, it is possible that the amount of indicators will increase in Magra five, or fewer, days later.
