Title: Copernicus Sentinel-1 highlights sea ice formations

Description:

This zoom of a Copernicus Sentinel-1 image, acquired on 22 August 2017, shows sea ice features in the Greenland Sea representing areas of different concentrations. One of the tricky features with SAR images is demonstrated as water appears brighter in the lower left quadrant compared to the right side of the image. This is due to changing viewing angles and weather conditions across the image.
