Due to a Sentinel-3A ground segment anomaly on 03 January 2018, data related to orbit #9785 to orbit #9789 are delayed.

Due to a Sentinel-3A antenna anomaly on 01 January 2018, data related to orbit #9760 are missing.

Monitoring large, remote bodies of water is logistically challenging, time consuming and expensive. Responding quickly to events that pose a risk to human health has been almost impossible, given the size of some lakes and seas. An innovative satellite data service is now able to change things around.

The anomaly that affected the OLCI instrument aboard Sentinel-3A has now been resolved.
Due to an OLCI Instrument anomaly on 19 December 2017 at 01:44 UTC, data is either degraded or unavailable until further notice.
At an event held on 13 December at ESA's Headquarters in Paris, France, an Understanding for the Sentinel Collaborative Ground Segment Cooperation was signed to facilitate Sentinel data exploitation in Romania.
A new version of the Sentinel-2A spectral response functions has been released.
Following the announcement earlier today, the anomaly affecting the Sentinel-3A ground segment has now been resolved.
Thanks to the European Union's Copernicus programme, vast quantities of satellite data are freely available to manage the environment and benefit European citizens. While this offers a wealth of opportunities, downloading and storing these data involves some complex logistical challenges - but this is about to change.
Due to a Sentinel-3A Ground Segment anomaly, SRAL Level 2 NRT and STC products are missing or delayed from 13 December 2017 at 08:30 UTC. There is an on-going investigation of the root cause.
