Publication of Sentinel-2A single tile repackaged products related to August 2016

14 August 2018

The campaign to republish the Sentinel-2A Level-1C products from their historical format into the ‘Complete Single Tile' format introduced in December 2016 on the Sentinel Open Data Access Hub and Copernicus Service Data Hub continues.

Starting from next batch the campaign will proceed in republishing sets more frequently, starting from the last week of August 2016 backward.
Next conversion batch will cover the days of sensing date between 31st August 2016 and 25th August 2016.

This corresponds to the following Data Take sensing Start range: from 2016-08-25T01:06:52.026Z to 2016-08-31T23:41:52.026Z and comprises a total of 27976 products.

The publication will start on Thursday 16 August 2018.
The list reporting the correspondence between the old formatted products (i.e. filename and UUID) and the converted products is provided here

This list will be updated whenever a new batch is published, without additional news, until the republication for August is complete.

Following the same procedure for the previous batches, the old format data will be incrementally removed soon after the publication of the new products.

As ever, users who routinely automate the download of the new products should be aware that a significant volumes of historical data will be republished, and that these data may be downloaded automatically based on their ingestion date unless precaution is taken in the download scripts and workflows.

For more information on the overall republishing campaign please refer to the news of the 18 May 2018.
