Users are informed of the release of a new version of the Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B spectral response functions.
These new versions include minor updates, slight changes of the central wavelengths for band B02 of S2A and S2B, and band B01 of S2A, along with slight changes of the Full Width Half Maximum (FMWH) for most of the bands. These spectral responses are already used by the ground segment since January 2022.
Whenever relevant, users are suggested to update all processors that are making use of these spectral responses (e.g. atmospheric correction algorithms).
These new Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B spectral response functions are available to users in the Sentinel-2 MSI Document Library as file (S2-SRF) version 3.1.
