We are pleased to announce the start of the full mission reprocessing campaign for the Sentinel-3 OLCI Level-2 Land products, covering the following datasets:

Sensing Period Coverage
The reprocessed data will cover the following periods:

Sentinel-3A: 6 April 2016 to 9 October 2024

Sentinel-3B: 9 May 2018 to 9 October 2024
Processing Baseline
This reprocessing campaign applies the Level-2 processing baseline introduced in October 2024, as part of the Copernicus Sentinel-3 OLCI/SYNERGY products release.
The reprocessed Level-2 products also benefit from the Level-1 reprocessed dataset, aligned with the Processing Baseline 3.28 deployed in May 2024 (Copernicus Sentinel-3 L1 Processing Baseline 3.28 released).
A dedicated news item will be published shortly to announce the release of the reprocessed Level-1 products.
Publication Timeline
The reprocessed Level-2 Land products will gradually become available on the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem starting from 10 March 2025.
The entire reprocessing campaign is expected to be completed by Q4 2025.
Transition from Previous Collection
The deletion of products belonging to the previous baseline collection (002) will take place after the publication of the new baseline collection 003.
For a transitional period of a few months, both versions of the Level-2 products will remain available online to ensure a smooth transition for data users.
