Following a Collision Avoidance Maneuvers (CAM) taking place on the 09th of April (2024-04-09T16:27 UTC), large ground track (GT) deviation has been observed. Corrective maneuvers have been implemented bringing back the GT to nominal condition on the 16h of April 2024.
Users should expect an impact in the interferometric baselines and burst synchronization for the data acquired in the period. For example, the plot below shows the evolution of the observed perpendicular baseline in the period w.r.t a reference orbit, and curves with different colors correspond to different times since Ascending Node Crossing (ANX).
It is noted that this anomaly is not related to the change of the orbital control (OC) strategy reported in https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/web/sentinel/-/sentinel-1a-change-in-the-orbit-control-strategy , nor does it causes additional long term impact on the GT and InSAR baselines.
