In view of the forthcoming launch of Sentinel-2C, users are informed of the release of Sentinel-2C spectral response functions, to complement those of S2A and S2B.
This new version includes for S2C additional information on the variation of the spectral response as a function of pixels: range of the wavelengths at mid-bandwidth and range of bandwidths (in nm) per spectral band.
Users are advised to update all processors using these spectral responses whenever appropriate.
These new Sentinel-2C spectral response functions are available to users in the Sentinel-2 MSI Document Library as file S2-SRF version 4.0.
