Title: Sentinel-1 over Tibet glaciers
Description:
These Copernicus Sentinel-1A satellite images from 3 April 2017 and 13 April 2018 show the deposits of the 2016 glacier collapses and the aftermath one year later. High roughness of the ice debris and likely some volume scattering from within the mass makes them appear much brighter in backscatter than the surrounding landscape.
