In the frame of the Security Services, Copernicus supports the EU External Action through geo-spatial information improving crisis prevention, preparedness and rapid, on-demand, response capacity for the assessment of risks in critical regions. Copernicus will also provide geo-spatial intelligence and information for situational awareness in complement to the Emergency Management Service, with which it can share common processing capabilities. The Service can also provide support to CFSP and other security user needs.
