Minimize Available Data Collections

The Data Access Portfolio Document defines the datasets made available to Copernicus Users in response to their requirements. The complete data offer is described in the Copernicus data access portfolio.

This section describes the Sentinel mission contribution to the applicable data offer; there are 2 types of datasets:

  • CORE datasets: predefined, fixed large data collections for specific applications like sea ice monitoring over predefined areas or European wide land cover assessment; Access to Sentinel data within CORE datasets can be obtained via subscription
  • ADDitional (ADD) Datasets: flexible, on-demand part of the data offer covering multiple and last minute requirements, like observations over volcanoes and emergency events. They represent a large volume of EO data classified by resolution type to cover Copernicus user flexible specifications, e.g. geographical area, processing levels, lead times, delivery mechanisms etc.

Temporary publication delay of Sentinel-2 products in the Data Hubs

05 October 2018

Users are informed that the availability in the Data Hubs of some Sentinel-2 products with sensing time between 07:24 UTC on 04 October and 10:51 UTC on 05 October is delayed due to a contingency at ground segment level.

Sentinel-3A data unavailability on 24 September 2018

01 October 2018

Due to a Sentinel-3A S09 calibration performed during absolute orbit 13555, all L1 and L2 NRT OLC user products from sensing time 09:03 to 09:05 UTC on 24 September 2018 are missing. The related NTC products will be recovered.

Temporary publication delay of Sentinel-2 L1C products in the Data Hubs

As a consequence of a ground segment anomaly, the availability in the Data Hubs of several Sentinel-2 L1C products with sensing time between 27 September 14:18 UTC and 28 September 07:30 UTC is delayed.

Sentinel-3A OLCI data on the Open Access Hub

26 September 2018

Sentinel-3A OLCI data has been re-processed to Processing Baseline 2.23 to provide a homogeneous time series from the start of the Sentinel-3 mission and also to align it with the forthcoming Sentinel-3B OLCI products.

HR2-MR1_SAR_GLOBAL: Worldwide coverage

Target AOI: All land surfaces from 90° North to 90° South and from 180° West to 180° East (see details in the DAP)

Product type: L1 GDR plus SLC for specific areas

HR_IMAGE_2015: Optical HR Pan Europe coverages
Sentinel-2 data will be used for gap filling for the generation of 2 high-resolution coverages of EEA-39 within vegetation season 2014-2015

HR1_OPT_GLOBAL and HR2_OPTICAL_GLOBAL: Optical HR1 and HR2 worldwide coverages
Systematic Sentinel-2 data supply as of 3rd December 2015
