A new version of the Sentinel-2A spectral response functions has been released.
Following the announcement earlier today, the anomaly affecting the Sentinel-3A ground segment has now been resolved.
Thanks to the European Union's Copernicus programme, vast quantities of satellite data are freely available to manage the environment and benefit European citizens. While this offers a wealth of opportunities, downloading and storing these data involves some complex logistical challenges - but this is about to change.
Due to a Sentinel-3A Ground Segment anomaly, SRAL Level 2 NRT and STC products are missing or delayed from 13 December 2017 at 08:30 UTC. There is an on-going investigation of the root cause.

Sentinel-1 focuses on floods

14 December 2017

Carrying advanced radar instruments, which can image Earth's surface regardless of the weather and darkness, the Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission is bringing new insight into the aftermath of heavy rains and hurricanes.

Due to a Sentinel-3A Ground Segment anomaly on 12 December 2017, the publication of NRT products have been delayed from 05:45 to 11:30 UTC.

Due to a planned out of plane orbit manoeuvre foreseen for 13 December 2017, Sentinel-3 data from SLSTR, OLCI and SRAL will be impacted.

The Copernicus Sentinel satellites have proven to be invaluable for various activations of the International Disasters Charter.
