Ocean Processing Parameters
Two different Auxiliary Data Files (ADFs) are used in the specific OLCI Level-2 section dedicated to Ocean Processing:

The OLCI Level-2 Atmospheric Correction data file contains the parameters used in the atmospheric correction step. These data are split into four groups:
- glint and whitecaps correction parameters
- case 2 NIR reflectance estimation parameters
- atmosphere correction parameters for the standard algorithm
- atmosphere correction parameters for the alternative algorithm.
- The OLCI Level-2 Ocean Colour data file contains the parameters used in the ocean colour algorithms step. The main parameter provided by the ADF is the bidirectional factor, used to compute the fully normalised water-leaving reflectance for Case 1 waters and the photosynthetically active radiation value (indexed by Angstrom exponents, ozone concentration, aerosol thickness and total column vapour).
