The Level-1 CAL product is outputted during Level-1 processing and is an internal product only. It is not available to users.

An SRAL Level-1 product contains one calibration data file containing the Level-1 calibration parameters for the calibration nominal scenario:

• L1B_CAL1_LRM_IQ: Level-1 Point Target Response (PTR) calibration measurements in LRM mode for I, Q configuration

• L1B_CAL1_SAR_Norm: Level-1 PTR calibration measurements in SAR mode

• L1B_CAL1_SAR_Auto: Level-1 PTR calibration measurements in SAR mode / AGC calibration

• L1B_CAL2_SAR_Ku: Level-1 Gain Profile Range Window (GPRW) calibration measurements – Ku-band (SAR mode)

• L1B_CAL2_SAR_C: Level-1 GPRW calibration measurements – C-band (SAR mode)

The main parameters available for Level-1 CAL1 PTR measurements are:

• time-tag and geo-location

• PTR total and maximum power

• difference of travel between the transmission and the reference lines

• PTR main lobe width

• PTR secondary lobes features

• burst power and phase corrections (SAR mode only)

• AGC correction tables (AGC calibration only).

The main parameters available for Level-1 CAL2 GPRW measurements are:

• time-tag and geo-location

• GPRW maximum value location

• left side GPRW features: mean value, standard deviation, difference between minimum and maximum values, and slope of the linear regression

• right side GPRW features: mean value, standard deviation, difference between minimum and maximum values, and slope of the linear regression

• GPRW normalised samples.
