Waveforms Samples – Sentinel-3 Altimetry Technical Guide – Sentinel Online
The waveform samples are computed at Level-2 processing.
- LRM mode Ku and C bands: the echo is corrected for the GPRW effect
- PLRM Ku and C bands: the echo is the so-called averaged echo corrected for the GPRW effect
- SAR mode Ku band: the echo is corrected for Doppler range effect, phase/power burst calibration and GPWR effect

DESCRIPTION |
Waveforms samples are computed in the Level-1 processing chain. LRM mode (Ku and C-bands): the echo waveform is corrected for the Gain Profile Range Window (GPRW) effect. SAR mode C-band: the echo waveform is the averaged echo corrected for GPRW effect. SAR mode Ku-band: the echo is corrected for Doppler range effect, phase/power burst calibration and GPRW effect. |
