Minimize Available Data Collections

The Data Access Portfolio Document defines the datasets made available to Copernicus Users in response to their requirements. The complete data offer is described in the Copernicus data access portfolio.

This section describes the Sentinel mission contribution to the applicable data offer; there are 2 types of datasets:

  • CORE datasets: predefined, fixed large data collections for specific applications like sea ice monitoring over predefined areas or European wide land cover assessment; Access to Sentinel data within CORE datasets can be obtained via subscription
  • ADDitional (ADD) Datasets: flexible, on-demand part of the data offer covering multiple and last minute requirements, like observations over volcanoes and emergency events. They represent a large volume of EO data classified by resolution type to cover Copernicus user flexible specifications, e.g. geographical area, processing levels, lead times, delivery mechanisms etc.

Sentinel-2 products temporarily unavailable

As a result of a ground segment anomaly, the Sentinel-2 products acquired on 20 October at 10:00 UTC, will be temporarily unavailable in the data hubs. 

Data Hub maintenance on 25 and 26 October 2017

Maintenance activities affecting the infrastructure of the Data Hubs are scheduled to take place on 25 and 26 October 2017.

Sentinel-3A data unavailability

19 October 2017

Due to an anomaly with the OLCI instrument, Sentinel-3A OLC Level-1 and 2 data products acquired between 01:03:50 and 12:06:34 UTC on 16 October 2017 are missing in both NRT and NTC timeliness.

Sentinel-1A planned unavailability

17 October 2017

In order to perform an onboard maintenance of the Sentinel-1A radar instrument, the satellite will be unavailable on 17 October 2017 from 07:54 UTC to 09:46 UTC.

HR2-MR1_SAR_GLOBAL: Worldwide coverage

Target AOI: All land surfaces from 90° North to 90° South and from 180° West to 180° East (see details in the DAP)

Product type: L1 GDR plus SLC for specific areas

HR_IMAGE_2015: Optical HR Pan Europe coverages
Sentinel-2 data will be used for gap filling for the generation of 2 high-resolution coverages of EEA-39 within vegetation season 2014-2015

HR1_OPT_GLOBAL and HR2_OPTICAL_GLOBAL: Optical HR1 and HR2 worldwide coverages
Systematic Sentinel-2 data supply as of 3rd December 2015
