Due to an issue occurring at the Land processing centre on 5 September Copernicus Sentinel-3A and 3B OLCI and SYN Near Real Time data from the sensing time 09:15:00 to 11:00:00 UTC could be delayed.
Due to an issue at Ground Station level on 5 September, Copernicus Sentinel-3A data (OLC, SLT, STM Near Real Time, Short Term Critical and Non Time Critical) from 05:50:00 to 07:15 UTC orbit 18488 are missing.

Tracking spatio-temporal variations in flooded areas of wetlands is not an easy task, especially when they are characterised by a dense cover of emergent vegetation. Researchers in France developed a tool to monitor water in seasonal wetlands using Copernicus Sentinel-2 data, which exceed the performance of existing water indices.

Due to two scheduled special operations on the Copernicus Sentinel-3 SLSTR instruments, SLSTR mission data will be available but IR channels will be degraded during the duration of the maintenance activity.

Following the first year of operations of the Long Term Archive (LTA) Access interfaces for Copernicus Sentinel-1, the LTA interface will soon be operated for both Copernicus Sentinel-2 and 3.

Thousands of fires have broken out in the Amazon rainforest. Satellite data show that there are almost four times as many fires this year compared to the same period last year. Apart from Brazil, parts of Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina have also been affected.

The maintenance activity on Open Hub proxies has been successfully completed. The maintenance has fixed the network error issue that was causing frequent downloads failure as experienced by some users since 29 July.
ESA is pleased to confirm the successful change in increasing the spatial resolution from 7 km to 5.5 km a-long track as reported in the news of 14 June.
As a follow up of the technical investigation related to a previously reported ongoing anomaly, a corrective infrastructure maintenance activity has been planned on 7 August from 08:00 to 12:00 UTC on the Copernicus Open Access Hub (also including API Hub and GNSS Rinex Pre-operational Hub).

Due to contingencies that have occurred at ground segment level, the following Copernicus Sentinel-2 products are going to be removed from all Data Hubs and corresponding products will be regenerated and disseminated in the coming days.
