As a follow up to the news regarding the quality warning for SO2 and HCHO, it can now be confirmed that the background calibration is being correctly performed and that the quality of the near real time processing is no longer degraded from the 15 December.

On the Romanian Danube sector in South-Eastern Europe, sand and ice banks can present difficulties for ships navigating these waters—Copernicus Sentinel satellite images are used by local authorities, to monitor navigation and manage traffic.

Due to a ground segment configuration error, a set of NRTI data with sensing date of 2019-07-29 and 2019-07-30 that have been processed for validation of the the Near Real Time dataflow with improved algorithms have been mistakenly published on the Sentinel-5P pre-operations data hub on 2020-05-18/19.

A maintenance activity on the core infrastructure hosting the data hub services, is planned for 15 of December, from 07:00 to 15:00 UTC.

A maintenance activity on core infrastructure hosting the data hub services, is planned for tomorrow the 10th of December, from 09:00 to 12:00 UTC.

Maintenance activities are scheduled on 15 December from 08:30 to 16:30 UTC for updating the data hub software on the Sentinel-5P Pre-Operations Data Hub.

Due to a ground segment anomaly the Sentinel-5P near real time (NRTI) production of SO2 and HCHO has been degraded between orbits 16259 and 16338. The anomaly was caused by an interruption of the background calibration.

Copernicus Sentinel-1B was unavailable on 8 December 2020 from 01:56 to 09:19 UTC, due to a SAR antenna anomaly.

As previously announced NO2 data from Copernicus Sentinel-5P are now processed with an improved processor (version 01.04.00).

Due to a collision avoidance manoeuvre planned for the Copernicus Sentinel-5P satellite on 4 December there will be a data unavailability for near real time (NRTI) data for a few orbits.
