As announced in March, we are pleased to announce the upcoming worldwide extension of the geometric refinement processing for Copernicus Sentinel-2 products. The deployment in the operational production will happen gradually on 23 August throughout the day.

 

As a consequence of a Copernicus Sentinel-2 anomaly, which impacts the reception timeliness of some downlinks between 8 and 10 August, several products have not been generated.

Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 11 August 2021 between 01:23 UTC and 09:23 UTC, due to a SAR anomaly.

As a consequence of a Copernicus Sentinel-2A collision avoidance manoeuvre executed on 8 August, some acquired data have been lost and several products have not been generated between sensing orbits 32013 and 32021.

Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 9 August 2021 between 06:23 UTC and 09:37 UTC, due to a SAR anomaly. No data were generated during this period.

Due to a ground segment anomaly regarding the availability of auxiliary data from Suomi-NPP, the Copernicus Sentinel-5P CH4 products from orbit 19722 to 19737 will not be processed.

A new website launched today within the Sentinel Online family, offering users the opportunity to share resources related to Copernicus Sentinel data and their use.

Following the issue reported on 22 July, we are pleased to report that publication of Copernicus Sentinel-5P O3_TCL products has resumed, starting from orbit 19495.

A maintenance activity has been scheduled on Sentinel Online and the Sentinel Users Bulletin Board on 5 August.

Collision avoidance manoeuvres were executed on Sentinel-1A to reduce the risk of collision with a debris potentially occurring at 00:51 UTC on 25 July 2021.
