Following the last Copernicus Sentinel-5P reprocessed data release, ESA announce the publication on 15 June 2023 of the auxiliary data AUX_CTMANA used during the reprocessing campaign for NO2, HCHO and SO2.

The AUX_CTMANA files are produced daily by the TM5-MP chemistry transport model and contains a-priori profile shapes for the NO2, HCHO and SO2 vertical column retrievals.

Users can download the data from the Copernicus S5P Pre-Ops hub.

More details on content and format of the files is available in the TM5 Product User Manual.

Please note that, for the period covered by the reprocessed data set, the old AUX_CTMANA files produced/used during the nominal operations have been removed (i.e., files up to including 25/07/2022).

A Collision Avoidance Manoeuvre executed on Sentinel-2A on 25 May 2023 induced the following unrecoverable loss of data:

Datatakes entirely lost :

  • S2A-41379-2
  • S2A-41381-3
  • S2A-41381-4
  • S2A-41381-5
  • S2A-41382-1

Datatakes partially lost :

  • S2A-41379-1
  • S2A-41380-1
  • S2A-41381-2
  • S2A-41382-2

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Due to Copernicus Sentinel-3B In-Plane Manoeuvre, SLSTR products degradation is expected for sensing time from 06/06/2023T07:50:38 to 06/06/2023T08:00:44 UTC.

Due to Copernicus Sentinel-3B Moon calibration, data will be degraded on hereafter products:

  • Copernicus Sentinel-3B SLSTR: products degradation is expected for sensing time from 04/06/2023T11:44:13 to 04/06/2023T12:34:43

  • Copernicus Sentinel-3B OLCI: products degradation is expected for sensing time from 04/06/2023T12:28:58 to 04/06/2023T12:34:43

  • Copernicus Sentinel-3B SRAL: products degradation is expected for sensing time from 04/06/2023T11:45:13 to 04/06/2023T12:16:34
