Over the past summers, the Alta Murgia National Park in Southern Italy faced a lack of information on wildfires for post-fire assessments-Copernicus Sentinel-2 data came into action, enabling the design and development of Rheticus® Wildfires by Planetek Italia: a geo-information service offering solutions.

We are pleased to announce the release of new processing baseline 2.72-A and 1.49-B for Copernicus Sentinel-3.

As a consequence of a ground segment contingency affecting all Sentinel-2 PDGS processing centres early in the morning of 1 December, the nominal availability of Copernicus Sentinel-2A products from sensing orbit 28427 to 28432 and Copernicus Sentinel-2B products from sensing orbit 19519 to 19523 was prevented.

Mozambique has some of the most climate-resilient coral ecosystems worldwide - and one of the world's most important reefs - Copernicus Sentinel-2 data are helping to assess where they are and what is happening to them over time.

An update of the Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5p) operational ground-processing system is planned during early December 2020.

ESA is pleased to announce that, in addition to the Copernicus DEM 90 metre resolution released in 2019, the access rights for data at 30 metre resolution have now been extended and the dataset is openly and freely available to any registered user.

The issue affecting the offline products restoration on the Data Hubs was solved on 27 November 2020 at 09:00 UTC.

Due to a ground segment contingency that occurred yesterday evening and was fixed this morning, the nominal availability of several Copernicus Sentinel-2A products from sensing orbit 28336 to 28338 and Copernicus Sentinel-2B products from sensing orbit 19427 to 19430 was prevented. The recovery of missing products is ongoing and will be completed in the next days. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The restoration of offline products in the Data Hubs is temporarily affected by an anomaly since 26 November 2020 at 11:00 UTC. Orders are queued but not processed.

Copernicus Sentinel-1A was unavailable on 26 November 2020 from 10:06 to 13:32 UTC, due to a Payload Data Handling and Transmission (PDHT) sub-system anomaly. No data were generated during this period, and data acquired slightly before this period may have been affected.
