With reference to our previous announcement on 3 June 2021, the Copernicus Sentinel-2 L1C and L2A products will tag the new Processing Baseline 03.01 and will start being disseminated as of 30 June 2021.

This new Processing Baseline will also introduce a minor modification of datastrip metadata by adding refinement processing_specific_parameters fields for all those products, which did not undergo the geometric refinement processing, in order to harmonize them with refined data products.

The transition to baseline 03.01 will be applied as follows:

• Sentinel-2A: All products with sensing time later than 2021-06-30 08:30 UTC, corresponding to S2A sensing orbit 31450
• Sentinel-2B: All products with sensing time later than 2021-06-30 08:30 UTC, corresponding to S2B sensing orbit 22541
