Taking place in the city of Bonn in Germany from 23 to 27 May, the Living Planet Symposium is set to highlight the fundamental role that European Earth observation activities – including the Copernicus Sentinels – have for fostering improved understanding of the planet’s systems.
As well as helping the global community track climate change, these efforts are enabling the commercial development of sustainable technologies across society, improving people’s daily lives and accelerating the transition to a green, decarbonised economy.
This year’s symposium comes at a pivotal moment for global climate action, taking place months after the international community agreed on a renewed commitment to cut planet-warming emissions at COP26 in Glasgow, UK.
The 2022 edition of the event is expected to be the biggest and most wide-ranging Living Planet Symposium to date, enabling hundreds of experts from around the world to showcase the numerous ways in which space data facilitates understanding of Earth’s changing environment.
The Sentiboard forum is poised to help highlight these findings by providing an online space that spurs the sharing of information across a dynamic community of Copernicus Sentinel data users.
Using the forum, symposium attendees can increase the reach of their presentations by posting messages – which could include links to further information as well as images – that are disseminated to the Sentiboard community.

Join us at ESA’s Living Planet Symposium in Bonn
