Further to our previous announcement of 22 March 2021,we are pleased to confirm the operational deployment of the geometric refinement for Copernicus Sentinel-2 products on 30 March 2021.
As anticipated, the Sentinel-2 products featuring this update will tag the new Processing Baselines 03.00 for both Sentinel-2 Level-1C and Level-2A products. The transition to baseline 03.00 will be applied as follows:
- Sentinel-2A: All products with sensing time later than 2021-03-30 01:00 UTC, corresponding to S2A sensing orbit 30130
- Sentinel-2B: All products with sensing time later than 2021-03-30 01:00 UTC, corresponding to S2B sensing orbit 21221
