With reference to the recent news for upcoming changes to the Copernicus Sentinel-5P products, the new processor has been transferred into operations on 16 July 2020.

The cut off orbits for the the new processor version 2.1.3 are as follows:

  • NRTI data from orbit 14285 are processed according to the new baseline
  • OFFL data from orbit 14239 are processed according to the new baseline

Due to specific processing requirements for the initialisation of the new processor version the OFFL orbits from 14239 will be slightly delayed in comparison to the normal timeliness, this will be gradually recovered in the subsequent days.

The Sentinel-5P product description pages have been updated, and the latest documentation are published at the following links.

During the transition a number of orbits of the Near Real Time dataflow were not processed according to the timeliness constraints (orbits 14270 to 14285), these will be recovered in the OFFL processing. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
