An update of the Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5P) operation system is planned in the next weeks, which will impact the following products:

- L2__CLOUD_
- L2__HCHO__

An update of the Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor (S5P) operation system is planned in the next weeks, which will impact the following products:
- L2__O3____
- L2__O3_TCL
- L2__CLOUD_
- L2__HCHO__
- L2__SO2___
Changes in the algorithms and product format will occur with an updated processor version to 2.1.3.
The main impact on the data products of the processor upgrade is:
- Improved O3 (NRTI) retrieval at high latitudes
- Corrected the problem of the sun glint impacting Background correction for HCHO
- Improvement of reference spectrum selection in SO2 (selection of another zone in case the reference sector is contaminated by a volcanic eruption)
- CLOUD product improvement: over snow/ice conditions, small cloud fractions, cloud edges
- qa_value parameter is improved (more reliable) for all products
