Users are informed that, on 30 January 2019, the RINEX Observation files of the Copernicus Sentinel-3B satellites are available on the ESA Data Hub.

With this, all RINEX observation files from the Copernicus Sentinel-1, -2 and -3 missions are available to the scientific community.

Additionally, the Sentinel On line Web Portal includes POD pages (under Technical Guides) with all necessary information to perform LEO POD.

The Copernicus Sentinel-3B RINEX observation files include three periods where both on-board receivers were activated. The periods are:

  • From 2018/06/07 to 2018/06/15
  • From 2018/06/21 to 2018/06/25
  • From 2018/09/03 to 2018/09/18

During these periods, among other things, the GPS receiver was configured, at intervals, to track the GPS L2C modernized signal, instead of the P(Y) codes.

As a result, this is an opportunity to analyze this modernized signal gathered from a space-borne receiver.
