The Oil spill mapping with Sentinel-1 webinar will illustrate:

  • how to access the RUS Service
  • how to download, process, analyse and visualise the free data acquired by the Copernicus satellites
  • the methodology to map an area affected by oil spill pollution, using ESA SNAP Sentinel-1 Toolbox.

The RUS Service is the "New Expert Service for Sentinel Users" funded by the European Commission, managed by the European Space Agency, and operated by CS SI and its partners.
 
RUS aims to promote the uptake of Copernicus data and support the scaling up of Research and Development activities with Copernicus data.
 

The Oil spill mapping with Sentinel-1 webinar will illustrate:
