On 9 March 2018, Level-1 and Level-2 Sentinel-3 OLCI PDUs, full and reduced resolution, began to be released through the Sentinel-3 Pre-Operational Data Hub. The data is being released incrementally beginning with the oldest data first, and the initial release will cover 26 April 2016 to 29 November 2017. The release of data will be performed gradually in order to avoid slowing down the nominal production publication.

The reprocessed dataset will be available via the Sentinel-3A Pre-Operational Hub, accessible with the credentials s3guest:s3guest
OLCI NTC products will be made available on the Pre Ops Hub as follows:
- Sensing time 25 April to 20 October 2016: Once published, only reprocessed products will be accessible on the Hub
- Sensing time 20 October 2016 to 29 November 2017: Both reprocessed and original products will be published on the Hub. Obsolete OLCI products will be deleted once the publishing of reprocessed data is complete.
The distinction between old and new data is possible via the "Platform" and "Product Generation Centre" IDs in the filename, as shown in the following example.
